The management staff is horrible and unwilling to work with you. I walked into my rental property with my husband to celebrate our FIRST anniversary, upon our arrival we walk into the house and find black dirt carpets.. Wood trim falling off in the kitchen with exposed nails, bottom of showers that needed to have mats or bleached, I found possible blood on a pillow case,hair on the pillow and hair on the toilet in one of the bathrooms. The shower curtain was brown with white splotches all over it. Looked like toothpaste possibly but I am unsure, I grabbed a cover off one of the beds to throw on the couch that was located downstairs (couch looks like 1000 people peed on it) felt disgusting the min I sat down I flew up in the air bc it felt so dirty. That same blanket had a possible a booger on it or something more unpleasant. This rental
For the last 2 years, I have stayed at Adagio 101 b for the 30A Songwriters Festival. We love the 30A area, Adagio and Southern Rentals. This event is so cool and our little home away from home has been perfect. The condo was clean, well taken care of and the staff at Southern very helpful. We had an issue with the dishwasher and even though it was our fault, it was fixed right away.
Property is filthy and the furniture is falling apart. I was afraid to sit down on the chair in fear I would break it. I asked for a full refund and I wouldn't stay one night but management said that they had to have their OWN MAINTENANCE man show up to look it over before anything could be done. But we would have to wait til the next business day. I was polite on the phone and they seemed they couldn't care less. I made 5 phone calls to them as well as my husband calling them once. I would not recommend renting from SOUTHERN VACATION RENTALS especially bungalow 152. The conditions in this house are comparable to a low rate motel. All I wanted was a simple refund.
We have been going to the Destin Area for 15+ years. This was the best place we have ever stayed. The room was great with high end furnishings, and perfect access to the pool. Parking was not a problem, and the beach access with chairs was awesome. We will book here again for our next vacation. Can't go wrong here.
